About Wine To Water
Wine To Water (WTW) is a global nonprofit committed to preserving the life and dignity of all through the power of clean water. Headquartered in Boone, NC since its beginning in 2004, WTW has impacted over 2.3 million lives with safe water opportunities across 58 countries.
When Hurricane Helene hit Wine To Water's backyard, they jumped into action. Alongside friends, family, and neighbors, WTW used their disaster response expertise to provide relief and resources to those impacted by storm.

• 285,852 gallons of drinking water distributed
• 145,750 gallons of non potable water distributed
• 1.2 million lbs of supplies distributed
• 7 high capacity water treatment systems
• 3,686 water filters
• 5,850 hygiene kits
• 44 tiny homes or temporary shelters provided
WTW is conducting free water quality testing throughout Western North Carolina, and is assisting with well and spring box repairs as our communities rebuild and heal.
About Blue Ridge Ramblers
The Blue Ridge Ramblers are a small group of experienced motorcycle riders who are setting out on an epic adventure in 2025.
We'll be riding across the U.S. touching on all 48 contiguous states in 10 days. Three veteran riders - Greg "Chrome" Williams, Matt "Superfly" Williams, and Wayne "Razz" Rasmussen will depart northeast Georgia on June 28th, headed first to Maine and then across the U.S.
They'll finish their trip on (or before!) July 7th in the Florida panhandle.
You might be asking yourself "Why in the world would anyone do that???" and it's a valid question. The answer is "because we want to do something large to highlight the large needs that are still unmet after the floods in western NC". Hurricane Helene hit on September 27th, 2024.
Although much has been accomplished in rebuilding, there is still much to do. Many of our beloved Blue Ridge Mountain neighbors are still in distress and in need of supplies, rebuilding, and hope. We're riding to raise awareness of the real need that is still out there, and we're riding to raise money to help offset some of the tremendous costs associated with rebuilding these once-thriving communities.
100% of the money we collect will go straight to "Wine To Water", an internationally acclaimed charity based in Boone NC. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. In addition to raising money for the charity in order to ride, each rider will pay his own expenses.
